Johan Lundin is also Associate Professor in Biomedical Informatics, University of Helsinki. A research group led by Johan Lundin, Research Director at the University of Helsinki’s Institute for Molecular Medicine Finland (FIMM), HiLIFE, is studying devices and applications that enable artificial intelligence (AI) supported automated diagnostics. The MoMic mobile microscopy device is based on low-cost components, originally developed Johan Lundin’s research group at the University of Helsinki’s Institute for Molecular Medicine (FIMM) has risen to this challenge and developed a small, low-cost mobile microscope device. The device connects wirelessly to a cloud server to which it transmits images for machine vision analysis.
